Mark your calendars! November 20 at 1:00, I’m taking part in this cool event. Here is the event description and info on how to get tickets.

Join me in supporting Metropolitan Ministries by donating and attending The Tampa Writers Harvest! At Writers Harvest you will hear some of the best poetry, fiction, and spoken word in the city of Tampa! This event will support Metropolitan Ministries’ work helping those who are struggling, hungry and homeless.

The Tampa Writers Harvest will feature Tampa’s favorite poets, writers and spoken word artists from across the city, including from Saint Leo University, The University of Tampa, Black on Black Rhyme, University of South Florida, Tampa Bay Poetry Alliance, and Heard ‘Em Say. The performance will take place live on zoom and will be available for viewing after the event on YouTube. Your donation in the greatest amount you can afford, whether it be $5 or $500, will give you access to the zoom link and the readings/performances of over 25 literary artists. The zoom link will be sent to contributors the week prior to the event.

Keep your eyes open for Issue 11 of MacQueen’s Quinterly, which will be launched no later than January 2022. I’ll have two poems in that issue: “Out of the Fog” and “1977.”

“Ode to a Kind of Winter” will be appearing in Able Muse. Someday…
